I see alot of questions on this site about how to MAKE someone like them?? How to MAKE someone happy???


I learned a long time ago that you canNOT make someone like you! They have to want to do it themselves! That being happy is an INSIDE job. It's up to every individual to create their own happiness. Others only add-to their happiness. It's too much of an unrealistic burden to think we have the capabilities to be responsible for someone else's happiness.True or false: We cannot MAKE someone else happy. I was born happy, I've had the worst start in life with loads of cr-p thrown my way yet I pick myself up and start all over again. nothing gets me down and that characteristic rubs off on everyone around me.True or false: We cannot MAKE someone else happy. We only ADD TO others happiness?
Correct! If you ever try to make somebody like you by constantly giving gifts,asking to come over to their house etc. they will just think of you as an annoying person, eventually. Yeah occasionally it is good to go to each others house (otherwise you won't know that person good enough to be a good friend) but don't stay to long mabey on hour or two. But don't be consistent with going to each others house unless the other person invites you.


But I know what you mean by not controlling other peoples happiness, it's their responsibility to want to like you or others, they control their own happiness
you are so inextricably Right!!! happiness begins within! change begins from within! no one person can make antoher happy - if someone wants to be happy they must be able to do that for themselves!!! when they meet someone else who is happy, then as you say this is a bonus! and two happy peopole together are very blissful to behold and tobe around! no one can make you happy - only you can do that for yourself!!! a good portion of us learn taht early on in life... sometimes we become side tracked and/but always know deep inside of us that we are the makers of our own happiness and our own destinies! ily!
You are right, happiness comes from the inside first and foremost. But the sad part is not all realize this.
