How do you remove false eyelashes?
I've *never* worn false eyelashes before, but am DYING to try them! And what better time to try some looooong, vibrant purple ones than on Halloween night?? LOL BUT, one thing that I HAVEN'T considered ('til now) is how I'm going to REMOVE them! Lol, dumb, I know. So, how is this done - before I actually get them on . . . and stuck!How do you remove false eyelashes?

Before I started using them I was thinking that too! I was like oh crap are they going to rip my eyelashes out! (LOL!) Anyways, I couldn`t believe how easy they were to take off, they peel off just like a sticker, very easily. When it's been glued for a while and you finally want to take them off, put some warm water in a cupped hand and splash it in each of your eyes. It will loosen the glue a little bit. Then from the outside corner of your eye, slowly peel them (make sure you're grabbing from the base) until you reach the inner corner of your eye.
If your putting them on with a strong glue, then I would definitely buy a adhesive remover to go with em!! It wont hurt one bit! (I use white glue for hair extentions-for blondes) because it is easier to peel them off b/c it is a really odd texture and because it dries completely clear! Other than that you can also use a creamy make up remover.. Good luck and rock those lashes !!

Food manufacturers wouldn't get away with making false claims, so why are thousands of gullible women being ripped off on a daily basis? Someone should be putting a stop to it. you should have gotten his name and badge number and report him to his commander. chances are he was a fake. how did he get your phone number?.
Wait for the warrant, he can't do anything without it. He cannot harass you under any circumstances, but he can informally accuse you of anything he wants.
File a complaint and hope your are not a criminal, I.E. two (2) sides to every story,

Sounds like there is more to this story then you are telling.
I think he is just trying to scare you. A judge is the one who issues the warrent based on evidence, or probable cause presented to him by the one requesting the warrant. If he has a warrant, he would have served it already. If this guy is singling you out for some reason, I would go to internal affairs and fix his wagon.
Get a good attorey, a restraining order, and file a big bucks lawsuit. His house is your house.

Yes they do. They have just as much ';right'; to make ';false'; charges as you do.
Wherever you are, there should be a Citizens Complaint Advisory Board ( or a similar name) which handles complaints against Police Officers who don't do their job. Go online and look this up. Then provide them with as much information as possible-date, time, location, officer's name or description, what was said (especially if he was using offensive language) and a witness who is willing to back up your story, if possible. Blow him off. If he really had the goods on you he would have slapped the cuffs on you right then and there. To answer your question: Law enforcement officers have the right to accuse people of crimes if they have credible evidence to support their claims. And don't think that just because he was in Wal-Mart doesn't mean he was off-duty. So yes, he could accuse you of grand larceny, assuming he had some evidence to back that up. But as I said, chances are he's got nothing on you, so he was probably trying to scare you into confessing. Let it go. If you file a complaint it'll go nowhere.

I think he is just trying to scare you. A judge is the one who issues the warrent based on evidence, or probable cause presented to him by the one requesting the warrant. my aunt is pregnant and lost blood and told me it was maybe a miscarriage. Now she say her baby is still alive, even though she lost a lot of blood, her doctor say she have to be careful because she may have a real miscarriage.

Get a toothbrush %26amp; spread the bristles apart.
Find whatever conditioner you have and put a pea sized amount on the toothbrush.
Get a eyelash curler and squeeze the top lashes for about 5-7 seconds.
Slowly brush your eyelashes until there are no clumps of conditioner on them.

Well, I used to have very sparse lashes, and in the past few months I have started eating better (more nutritiously) and I've actually noticed my lashes getting fuller and thicker. I was really surprised.

I got three negatives over one week and was preggo with my son. I finally got a positive on a home test after I was 8 days late. It was the same day I was going to see the doctor and the test at the office was positive as well. It was a VERY faint line...but it WAS there!!
When I got pregnant with #2, I took a test the day I was due and it didn't come. THAT test was positive before I even had my pants pulled up!! LOL!! Hormones and my experience prove that every pregnancy is very different!!

They did a blood test and surprise, I was pregnant. I'm pregnant again but with this baby it showed up positive on the store bought test.

Yes, I did. I was one week past my period due date and I kept getting negative HPTs. So I went for the blood test. It as negative. I was sure of my dates and I am never late. I had been pregnant 3 times before and I just felt like I was. The Dr said she was 99% sure that I was not pregnant bc the blood tests are very accurate but had me come back in 2 days because your HCG (pregnancy hormone) level doubles every 2-3 days. Well that one was positive. I had an ultrasound and it was a very early pregnancy. The Dr said I must have ovulated and got pregnant late in my cycle and wasn't as far along as my last period suggested.Has anyone ever gotten a false negative blood pregnancy test?
Never happened to me because I always waited til I was ';far enough'; along to test ... BUT ... it CAN happen, %26amp; usually for that reason in particular (testing too early), especially with urine / at-home pregnancy tests. They've since come out with ';early detection'; test kits, which can be used as early as 5 days after conception, so false negs are even LESS likely than they used to be!
As for blood tests, I don't think false negatives CAN actually occur (unless one would test like the day after intercourse, before implantation has even taken place). Like urine tests, blood tests measure hCG (a hormone produced within a few days of conception) - and if present, medical professionals at least know if a girl is pregnant. It obviously shows up earlier though, and is therefore more accurate.
However, UNlike urine tests, blood-testing can provide a quantitative reading (meaning it reads how much hCG -- which, in a healthy pregnancy, doubles in production every day -- is present), meaning that they're then able to tell how FAR along she is (or if she's having more than one baby, a weak pregnancy, etc.)
I know it wasn't necessarily a personal experience since I didn't have one (forturnately) :) %26amp; I'm sorry for not answering your question in that sense, but I hope the info helped a little. I wanted to understand what was going on with my body during both of my pregnancies (but especially the 1st one) so I read anything %26amp; everything out there! When I went in for my first OB appointment on 9/16 my doctor told me they were having problems with their machine giving off wrong numbers. I get my first ultrasound 10/14 so I can know exactly how far along I am, but according to him my blood test was a false negative. What's funny is my husband and I had an appointment with a fertility specialist set for Sept 1st but had to cancel it due to work conflicts. Looks like we don't need that anymore.

Yes, I did. I was one week past my period due date and I kept getting negative HPTs. So I went for the blood test. It as negative. I was sure of my dates and I am never late. I had been pregnant 3 times before and I just felt like I was. The Dr said she was 99% sure that I was not pregnant bc the blood tests are very accurate but had me come back in 2 days because your HCG (pregnancy hormone) level doubles every 2-3 days. Well that one was positive. I had an ultrasound and it was a very early pregnancy. The Dr said I must have ovulated and got pregnant late in my cycle and wasn't as far along as my last period suggested.Has anyone ever gotten a false negative blood pregnancy test?
Never happened to me because I always waited til I was ';far enough'; along to test ... BUT ... it CAN happen, %26amp; usually for that reason in particular (testing too early), especially with urine / at-home pregnancy tests. They've since come out with ';early detection'; test kits, which can be used as early as 5 days after conception, so false negs are even LESS likely than they used to be!
As for blood tests, I don't think false negatives CAN actually occur (unless one would test like the day after intercourse, before implantation has even taken place). Like urine tests, blood tests measure hCG (a hormone produced within a few days of conception) - and if present, medical professionals at least know if a girl is pregnant. It obviously shows up earlier though, and is therefore more accurate.
However, UNlike urine tests, blood-testing can provide a quantitative reading (meaning it reads how much hCG -- which, in a healthy pregnancy, doubles in production every day -- is present), meaning that they're then able to tell how FAR along she is (or if she's having more than one baby, a weak pregnancy, etc.)

Alarms have all been false so far - I would like to mute the alarm so it's not so piercing - I have excellent hearing so I'm not worried that I wouldn't hear it in the case of emergency, even if it is muted. I believe they are called photoelectric fire detectors. They are not triggered the same way as a normal smoke detector, so they might work better in your situation. You might just try replacing the existing unit with a new model. You probably should spend a little extra money on a name brand unit. New and better technology prevents the false alarms a little better.
Open the cover and you'll see the little speaker/siren thing. Stuff it with a cotton ball then tape a quarter or a nickel over it. It should still be loud, only muffled somewhat. I did something similar with my phone that had an obnoxiously loud ringer.
Depending on the building codes for where you live it may have a carbon monoxide detector in the unit. Call your landlord and explain what's happening. If it bothers you that much take out the batteries and buy a new one. I took a digital pregnancy test with the first mornings urine the day before my period was due it said pregnant. The next morning to better confirm took another digital test it said negative. Ive read alot about this subject after i tried unsucessfully for 3 years to concieve(turned out I had under-active thyroid and the very month after getting my levels right I concieved) but anyway I read that most women will have atleast one miscarriage in their life but most of us dont know about it because it will occur at time of menstrulation because we did not have enough pregnancy hormone HCG in our system to maintain the pregnancy. My guess is that you were pregnant, but may have unfortunately lost it.(if that is the case I am very sorry) that is the problem with these early testing kits, where we may once never have known that we were pregnant and therefore not having to go through the loss process, now we have all these great tests but they have their downsides.One last thing I would say though is that I had what I thought was the most horrific period with my daughters pregnancy but it turned out to be that I'd miscarried her twin, and my daughter turned out fine. Im not saying this is whats happened to you but its always possible? Goodluck with everything!!

When I was pregnant with my second child I had a pregnancy test at the doctor's, it was negative. The when pregnant with my 3rd, I went for another test - 2nd child a baby. Test negative told absolutely foolproof! I told them to look at my baby in pram as she was also negative!

Personally, I like the ease of the digital tests, but if I do get a positive result I will certainly confirm with a second test from one of the traditional tests, like First Response Early Result. Basically, making a choice between major disappointment or wasting an extra $10. Or, just buy the traditional test from the beginning!

Some people would like to think our government couldn't have possibly condoned the death of 3,000 Americans for any reason at all. But what if that reason was to save a greater number of Americans and at a higher standard of living than would have been otherwise possible.

When it comes to what you think, how can you discern the false from the true, or is everything you think true?
It should be obvious to anyone who has read my questions that I feel that how we each use our own thinking and memory is very important in creating the type of society or world we live in together. So. in that vein of thought, do you look at what you think as if it could be false...or is everything that comes out of your mouth the gospel?When it comes to what you think, how can you discern the false from the true, or is everything you think true?
Nothing out of my, or anyone's, mouth is the gospel (including this statement). All is subject to change based on new evidence, shifts in perspective, or external forces. We have no idea what's ultimately true or false, but in order to function we must take everyday leaps of faith. Even though I can't know for certain that the sun will rise tomorrow, I still behave under the assumption that it will.
Whether I'm actually a mere brain in a vat, falsely believing in this reality, or I'm convinced things are simply as they appear, I inevitably have to act as if some things are ';true'; to survive...even if it's tempered with a healthy dose of skepticism.When it comes to what you think, how can you discern the false from the true, or is everything you think true?
