Are scientist trying to corrupt our mind with their false theories of evolution?

because how can a monkey just suddenly decide to stand upright and lose all its hair? Are scientist trying to corrupt our mind with their false theories of evolution?
the theory of evolution is just that, a theory. whats funny is that Charles Darwin admitted and emphasized this point. some people are just stuborn and refuse to admit this, while others are just ignorant and believe anything for no reason. the theory technically isnt ';false'; however. though i dont believe it, i dont know anyone other than God who witnessed the creation of this world, so until i get to see Him face-to-face, i simplly take the ';Theory'; of evolution to be just that, a theory. those whose minds are corrupted by this are simply to ignorant to learn what a theory is. any intelligent person will know that it is not proven, so i have no problem with this theory or its teaching. O, and by the way, no offense, but you souldnt pass judgement on a theory you dont understand. it doesnt say we came from monkeys, it says we came from a common ancester. Are scientist trying to corrupt our mind with their false theories of evolution?
Of course, no one wants to step on the toes of anyone's religion, but I'm going to have to say that the theories that science has provided make quite a bit of sense. Evolution is not a matter of will (animals don't ';decide'; to evolve). It is a matter of natural selection. There may have been a mutation that resulted in a more fit animal that was better able to adapt to the changing climate of the earth millions of years ago. Perhaps standing erect helped a small group of these mutants survive and thus reproduce more and pass on the genes for erect stance and hairlessness. That is what the scientists postulate and there is some pretty persuasive evidence to suggest that these theories are correct. I do not believe that scientists are trying to corrupt our minds, nor that religion is trying to corrupt our minds as many Darwinists would insist. I believe that to each his own and if you are able to accept science, great. If you prefer religion, that's fine too. Whatever works for you.
I think creationists are much more guilty of mind-corruption when they form a false argument involving a claim that evolution works the way you describe. It doesn't, so the answer to your question has to be no.

You can't just make up a silly definition of something and then ask if it's therefore false. That is disingenuous, devious, and displays either gross ignorance or a willful attempt at corruption.

Which are you? An ignoramus or a liar?
I really think you need to look up on the accepted theories of evolution. At least those accepted in the scientific communities.

1st of all, no of course monkeys did not stand upright and become human beings. Monkeys are what you see today, co-existing with us here on earth. But in evolution we evolved from an earlier form of human being, which is the kinda stuff you have probably seen that looks half ape, half human. It was not a monkey.

2nd of all, Science and religion do not necessarily conflict, unless you let it. Science can be a way of trying to understand God's creation if you will. I am a Christian and when I first heard of evolution I just thought it was a stupid idea because of how I heard about it...other Christians. I think as Christians, and as human beings in general we should take an intellectual approach as well as one of faith. If you are a fundamentalist then yes, they may conflict...but you should re-examine what it is you are disagreeing with for two reasons.

1. To know what your even disagreeing with.

2. And to know why it doesn't make any sense so you can share your knowledge, if you find the answer that you want to find. Of course, your pre-established beliefs may hinder you from gaining a neutral opinion at least try.
Scientists truely believe these theories. Monkeys didn't decide to suddenly stand upright, it was a process of evolution that took millions and billions and thousands of years.
Let face it dear !!!

Who do you go to when you are sick? The doctor or the pastor. If science is wrong, why have medicines and all that. the preacher will touch you and you will be healed !!

If the clergy had their way, we would still have powerful witch doctors muttering mambo jambo and healing us - or pastors in white aprons commanding (?) God to come down and heal us.

The Clergy always try to make all people like sheep that follow THEM so that they can be a mini-Jesus of sorts. They lead people away from light - and into a darkness where people remain confused forever, where they pray to god more for fear of the devil and less for love.

This is the reason why Christianity is plunged in confusion today. This is why you have so many atheists and they are growing in numbers.

I had read somewhere in the bible ... ';There will come many men like me - but none of them will be me';. This is interpreted by the clergy to say that other religions are false. I interpret this to mean that the clergy (the ones who act like Jesus) are false. Man is still not EVOLVED enough to understand God.

There is a long distance to go ...

... and souls like Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Mohammed etc will keep coming to show us the way.
Why yes, we are. We do it because we enjoy watching small, easily threatened minds scuttle like cockroaches when the light is switched on.

p.s. the monkeys were in on it.
%26gt; are scientist trying to corrupt our mind

Nope. Some may try to educate you. You'd rather be educated than ignorant, right?

%26gt; false theories of evolution?

Whoa there! Evolution has a considerable amount of evidence. It is the best explanation for the biodiversity we see on semi-isolated archipelagoes and islands. The lessons learned there can be applied to continents and oceans. The fossil record supports evolution. You can consider evolution ';fact.';

%26gt; how can a monkey just suddenly decide to stand upright and lose all its hair?

The monkeys didn't suddenly do that. We've had alternate tree-dwelling and ground-dwelling ancestors. Our last monkey ancestor was about 22 million years ago. When I picture him/her/them, I like to picture Curious George.
Scientific theories are never false. When testing hypothesis, if the testing fails, the hypothesis fails, then the theory never exist.

No monkey ever became a human. No where in any discussion of human evolution did any scientist ever say that human evolved from monkeys. That is a mistake and a lie that continues to be put forth by the religious extremist that want to take science out of primary education. If your teacher ever told you that, then that teacher should be fired. Of course teachers in religious schools can get away with lies.

Science has NEVER corrupted anyone.
No. They leave that to the non-scientists.
Your theory of monkeys suddenly standing upright and losing all its hair is false. But that's not how evolution works. You need to learn about the real theory of evolution, at least you would know what you are arguing against.
