How likey is a pregnancy test to give a false positive result?

i have never had regular periods so i didnt think anything of it when i period was late but i have started to feel something im my stomach wasnt sure if it was just gas so i did two pregnancy tests both come back positive i cant get to see the doctor till next week how likely is it that they could be wrong?How likey is a pregnancy test to give a false positive result?
Doubtful. Very doubtful. Unless you have an ovarian cyst,then they can sometimes interfere with a pregnancy test result. I would retest if you think it's a false positive. Doubtful,it's soooooo rare to have a false positive.How likey is a pregnancy test to give a false positive result?
Getting 1 false positive is highly unlikely, 2 is almost impossible. The only way for them both to be false is if you somehow read them both wrong.
