If she's pregnant and lactating that would mean imminent delivery. Is she starting to nest? Change her eating habits? Acting different? (it takes 63 days for birth after conception)
Being around very little puppies or other animals could cause this too but I've never heard of it happening without them suckling her. (dogs have been known to adopt and nurse other animals.) My dog - after she was pregnant - adopted a small ';beanie baby'; type stuffed animal and she would nudge it under her belly and clean it anc carry it with her. But she never lactated.
Wait 24-48 hours and you should know if it's a real pregnancy.
My parents' dog has had a false pregnancy like three different times. She started lactating for no reason. She also started ';nesting'; - digging holes and putting her toys in them like they were her puppies. I don't know what causes it but we were told that if she were spayed it would stop.
A false pregnancy is when the body ';thinks'; it's pregnant and therefore shows symptoms but in reality it's not. How long ago do you think she lay have gotten pregnant?
Hormones would cause her to produce milk. Could be she is going thru false pregnancy and producing milk. It will fine.
She might be in heat?
