Are false eyelashes bad for your own lashes or your eyes?

My niece wants to get them and she wears contacts too.Are false eyelashes bad for your own lashes or your eyes?

If your talking about the stick on eyelashes. They won't pull of your natural eyelashes if applied on correctly. It shouldn't cause a problem for your eyes. If you apply close enough to the lash line, but not on your eyelashes. As long as you don't wear it 24/7, and take it off when its not needed.





If your thinking of eyelash extension, then its not recommended, as this will ruin your natural lashes and not good for the eyes, because of the glue.

False lashes are fine as long as she removes them carefully and doesn't rip them off. The extensions are a little more complicated. When I had them I ended up ripping them off because they were bugging me!

Yes, they can be. The glue after while will start to pull out all her real ones and she won't have any! The best thing to do is keep them on as long as possible and have them professionally put on. Take them off with an oil based make up remover too - that will help. GL!
